While I feel like I could write up a long post about Elgin Street and all the action that takes place here during the day and most importantly at night. The big thing that caught my eye with this photo is the fact that all the stoplights are green! 47 – Running Horses as seen on Sussex Street

When it began to rain during my shoot of the Peace Monument on Tuesday,  I decided to seek shelter in the National Gallery of Canada. I can tell you I”m glad I did because I discovered this beautiful piece of art called “Running Horses” by a Saskatchewan artist called Joe Fafard.  While I know many would say it isn’t as cool as the giant spider, it should still definitely not be overlooked. 46 – Fallen Tree as seen at Dow’s Lake

In another first, I finally made it to Dow’s Lake for the first time on the weekend.  While I didn’t stay for long and walk around as much as I would have liked due to the approaching storm, I now understand why most people love to come up here and just to hang out. Also, after seing it for the first time in summer, I look forward to seeing how different it is in the winter when the canal is open for skating (if it ever does).
