98 – Embassy of France as seen on Sussex Drive

After a long night on friday, I finally made it out to my photo walk yesterday afternoon, but I didn’t last long at all. It was cold, cloudy and the ever threatening rain convinced me to give up pretty darn quickly. Before I did, I did manage to grab this shot of the French Embassy. Located next door to the Prime Minister’s House, this is probably one of my favorite Ottawa buildings, a building I was lucky enough to have visited during last year’s “Door Open Ottawa Weekend”. If they have it on the schedule for next year, you should definitely check it out. Some of the rooms have crazy intricate murals plastered all over the walls and there is even a whole room wallpapered in Birch Bark. If you don’t believe, check out the pictures bellow from my visit last year and then make up your mind!
