Hope you like Plaid! Because today’s post is full of it as yesterday was Ottawa’s 1st Plaid Parade, an event meant to celebrate everything local. While I had hoped to make it to Suzy Q’s Doughnuts for the initial gathering of riders in order to take in all the fashion (and trust me, there were some amazing fashion statements), I ran late and just barely made the start of the Parade. I don’t know how many riders were there, but I must salute everyone who braved the cold and rode in this parade, it was definitely an amazing sight to see standing by the side of the road. Happy Sunday! Hope you all enjoyed your extra hour of sleep!

Minutes before the start of the parade, organizers huddling and preparing for the start.
First Group of Riders!
Fashionably Red! These guys have it figured out.
