Saw this photo on Reddit posted by RudeLeprechaun earlier this week of a half complete snow sculpture and decided I would check it out. Can’t say I was disappointed with my little detour down the snow filled side roads of the Glebe, these “Rock and Roll Polar Bears” were totally worth the drive. According to the Reddit tread, whoever owns this house builds a different snow sculpture every year. Over the past few years, there have been dragons, a kangaroo, an ape, a bear and even a dog. It’s that time of year again. Bring on the snow, snow storms, snow plows, snow blowers, shovels, sore backs, slippery sidewalks and possibly one or two nasty falls. As the City of Ottawa undertakes its first street cleaning operation of the year, I thought it would be appropriate to highlights this moment with today’s photo. The Delta Ottawa City Centre didn’t always use to look this good.
