174 – “Snowblowers and Snow Plows, Say Hello to Winter” as seen on Bank Street

It’s that time of year again. Bring on the snow, snow storms, snow plows, snow blowers, shovels, sore backs, slippery sidewalks and possibly one or two nasty falls. As the City of Ottawa undertakes its first street cleaning operation of the year, I thought it would be appropriate to highlights this moment with today’s photo. Shot last night around 1 a.m. on Bank street near Gladstone, this group of trucks had been hard at work since about 7 p.m. prepping it for the snowblower and causing massive traffic headaches for drivers looking to get around the area (I suffered this torment but thats what I get for driving a car in the city). I hope these street cleaning operations won’t affect your weekend plans! Have a great weekend everyone. Enjoy!
