Another last minute post today… what can I say, today is budget day and just like last year and the year before that, budget day is a busy day. But when all was said and done, thankfully I found some time to grab today’s photo. Two things to point out with today’s shot, Vite Vite Patate Frite is located on Wellington Street, not the first or second one that comes to mind, but the Wellington Street on the other side of the river near the Terrasses de la Chaudière buildings in Gatineau. Who knew that such a small area could have so many Wellington Streets….
The second thing I wanted to mention is that being from Montreal, restaurants like Vite Vite Patate Frite are the equivalent to Shawarma places here in Ottawa. There is normally one at every other corner, one near every major office building and they all sell “steamés” for cheap! If you don’t know what they are, you should do your research! They are delicious and definitely need to be eaten all dressed!
