It almost felt like a winter storm at times last night on the Rideau Canal. There was just so much Milkweed flying around. Only problem, some of it managed to get in my beer that I was drinking at the 8 Locks’ Flat pub. But given the view and the sunset, I will admit that it was a fair trade-off.   [google_map address=’348′ coordinates=’45.421151,-75.685149′ zoom=’15’ height=’300px’]

Not the first time this guy has made it on the blog! There is also a Samuel de Champlain Statue at the tip of Nepean Point behind the National Gallery of Canada. Won’t lie, the Ottawa one is much more impressive! [google_map address=’346′ coordinates=’45.425504,-75.716278′ zoom=’15’ height=’300px’]

Welcome to Ontario! Didn’t plan on taking this one, but when I saw this scene and the sunset in the background I knew I had to jump out of the car and grab the shot while I still had time. How could I resist. [google_map address=’345′ coordinates=’45.435111,-75.696408′ zoom=’15’ height=’300px’]
