When I finished my Project 365, I was convinced that I would quickly start another project as taking a photographs daily had become a habit of life. 353 – Kayaking as seen from a Boat in the Middle of the Rideau Canal

Had a very interesting opportunity over the weekend, thanks to the nice people over at the Dow’s Lake Pavilion, to get on a small boat and take a tour of Dow’s Lake and the Rideau Canal. While my girlfriend and her mother rented Kayaks and explored the lake on their own, I was lucky enough to get a spot on a tiny motor boat and explore some awesome places tucked along the edge of the lake and up the Rideau Canal (more photos to comes soon). 323 – Sunset as seen on Bank Street

I remember when I arrived in Ottawa, only a couple of years ago, that I found the southern side of the Centretown part of Bank Street to be pretty dingy looking. It has taken me until now to realize how much that has changed. New condos, completely renovated blocks of businesses including the “new” Vistek, and a number of new restaurants and pubs have completely changed the face of this area.
