Navan Fair – Demolition Derby – 2015

Decided to head out to the Navan Fair last night to check out the Demolition Derby which featured both 4 cylinder "Mini Car" and a couple of classic Crown Victoria V8 cars. I lost count but I am pretty sure there were 35 cars participating last night, all of which got pretty much destroyed! The photos bellow are proof of that. Was driving through Old Ottawa East late yesterday afternoon when I noticed a sure sign of spring, two classic trucks out on the roads. While the second one I ran into managed to get away before I could get my camera out of the back seat, I did manage to grab these two shots of the old-school GMC pick-up truck. 220 – Long Exposures as seen at the 417/174 Highway Junction

After a few days of ice sculptures and Winterlude photos, I thought it was time I bring you something different. Enjoy these long exposure photos of the incredibly busy 417/174 Highway Junction. I shot these from the top of the Cyrville Road overpass. While I personally like the Black, White and Red photos, I also posted full color versions bellow. My only disappointment with this shoot… not having my Neutral Density filter. I would have loved to have done an extremely long exposure of this intersection. 202 – Buried and Abandoned, a MiniVan in the Snowbank as seen in front of Art-is-In Bakery

Anyone lose their car? Found this guy partially buried in the snow bank in front of Art-Is-In Bakery today! Couldn’t help myself, I had to grab a shot. Also for those wondering, Art-Is-In was as good as always. Very different inside, much larger and still just as busy!
