So does anyone have some details on these guys? Saw them when I was in the Glebe yesterday, but never had a chance to try and figure out why they were there? Either way, they sure look pretty cool and the Graffiti on the wall is pretty neat too. Hope you are all enjoying your Saturday. As I write this, I am preparing to leave for Montreal in this snow storm so wish me luck! 187 – Giant Trees and Snow Covered Road as seen in the Glebe

Living downtown, I forgot what it was like to see roads full of large trees. Its pretty incredible how each neighbourhood in Ottawa can look completely different. Until I had ventured off to take a photo  of the Rock and Roll Polar Bear snow sculpture just up the Street, I had never realized how much history the Gelbe actually had. The things you learn…. 184 – Outdoor Ice Hockey Rink on Browns Inlet as seen in the Glebe

If I was a teenager or a kid and I had seen this outdoor Ice Hockey Rink on Browns Inlet off the Rideau Canal in the Glebe, I would have been extremely jealous of whoever had been able to set this up. While city rinks are fun and can lead to some extremely interesting games of shinny, I always dreamed about having a rink in my own back yard and if I had to picture it this would be it.
