Was near the airport last night and saw the sun beginning to set. Stopped the car and grabbed this shot of the old NRC Windtunnel near the Ottawa Airport. Always wondered if it was still operational. 298 – High water on the Ottawa River as seen behind Parliament

Wow… I have never seen the water so high on the Ottawa River before. If the water was even a foot higher, the bike path behind parliament would be flooded. Seagull island wasn’t as lucky and was completely submerged, made walking behind Parliament yesterday noticeably quieter. Anyways I hope you enjoy, I got lots of water on my camera trying to take this shot. You can even see some on the top left of the shot above.
