So after two days of being stuck at home with a nasty cold, I have decided it’s time for me to try and head back to work. For one, I need to escape the isolation and for two, I need a picture for tomorrow because after 3 days of Winterlude photos, I think it’s time for something a little different. Just like yesterday’s photo of Oscar, the Lord Elgin Hotel is an Ottawa staple and cannot me missed. If you don’t know its history, check it out on Wikipedia. Apparently, the Churchill Suite on the top floor has some incredible view of the Ottawa cityscape including the Chateau Laurier, the National Arts Centre, and City Hall.   [google_map address=’67’ coordinates=’45.421596,-75.693146′ zoom=’15’ height=’300px’]
