I’m back! My first real vacation in nearly a year is over and life in Ottawa is beginning to return to normal. 309 – Tulips, Inukshuk and Cottage as seen in Westboro

Discovered this little gem while I was on the Wellboro Jane’s Walk with Andrew King a couple of weeks ago. I was finally back in the area yesterday, so I made a little detour so I could take this shot, as I knew the tulips would finally be out in full bloom.  Looking at this shot, I sometimes find it hard to believe that this shot was taken in Westboro given the country look of the house. After spending most of the last month in the downtown area and in New Edinburg, I decided it was time to venture out and explore something new.  While my first photo walk in Westboro/Hintonburg was not the most fruitful of photographic experiences, I did discovered an amazing piece of Ottawa history and art, the beautiful natural rock sculptures at Remic Rapids created by John Felice Ceprano.
