As some of you know, I had the opportunity a little while back to explore Dows Lake and the Rideau Canal by boat. We had started our adventure at Dow’s Lake Pavilion and made our way all the way to the Lock’s at Carleton University, as well as all the way down the Rideau Canal to the Bank Street Bridge. Had a very interesting opportunity over the weekend, thanks to the nice people over at the Dow’s Lake Pavilion, to get on a small boat and take a tour of Dow’s Lake and the Rideau Canal. While my girlfriend and her mother rented Kayaks and explored the lake on their own, I was lucky enough to get a spot on a tiny motor boat and explore some awesome places tucked along the edge of the lake and up the Rideau Canal (more photos to comes soon).
