Another day, another interesting building to show you. Today I bring you the University of Ottawa Power Plant, one of uOttawa’s more interesting buildings, not only for because of its looks but for its central role in keeping a large part of campus running year round.  Hope you enjoy! “The plant provides controls for all environmental and mechanical systems throughout the campus from one central location. Also located in this complex is a sophisticated computerized “watchdog” network that controls temperature, humidity, clocks and atmospheric conditions in several laboratories, as well as conditions in several other buildings.” (uOttawa Website)     […]

Sad to say, but it really does seem like these buildings may never get torn down.    [google_map address=’154′ coordinates=’45.43119,-75.690136′ zoom=’15’ height=’300px’]

Guess what? I know today’s photo isin’t the most spectacular photo, that I could probably have shot hundreds of crazier and nicer fall colours across the city…. and the truth is that your probably right! But thats not the point with today’s photo. The goal with this photo is simply to introduce you to the plan for the coming week, a week where I hope to post “fall color” photos from various locations across Ottawa before finishing the week off with my first ever non Project 365 blog post about my first ever trip into Gatineau park. But before we […]
