Was driving through Old Ottawa East late yesterday afternoon when I noticed a sure sign of spring, two classic trucks out on the roads. While the second one I ran into managed to get away before I could get my camera out of the back seat, I did manage to grab these two shots of the old-school GMC pick-up truck. This awesome little building is probably one of the quirkiest little construction offices I have ever seen. Located at the corner of Hawthorne and Main in Old Ottawa East, everything from the fake pumps, the old Shell sign, to the building’s general design scream old Shell gas station, but for some reason I cannot find a single “online” source that would confirm its past life. So I finally went to the Rideau Canal in Winter for the first time since moving here, but I didn’t get the chance to skate on it. I went to try and grab some amazing sunset photos of people on the ice but the sky was just not cooperating last night. So I set up my Tripod as low to the ground as possible and decided I would try to capture some candid shots of people skating.
