Went to the Log Cabin Orchard in Osgoode last year to pick-up pumpkins, this year we managed to get there early enough in the season to pick-up apples. Apparently, we weren’t the only ones who thought of it as about 40 other car loads of people were there at the same time as well! Normally, I would have taken more photos, but the rain had to mess things up. Wish the weather forecast would actually predict things right sometimes as we were not prepared. Enjoy!

After my visit to the Upper Canada Cranberry Farm on Saturday, we continued our exploration of the area and made our way to a nice restaurant in the heart of Osgoode Village called the Red Dot Cafe. My review in 11 words: “food, service and price are great, desserts are to die for!” Today’s photo was shot along Cabin Road as we were made our way from the restaurant to my third and final destination of the day.  I hope you enjoy, and happy Monday! We all know Ottawa city limits are actually a lot larger than the downtown core itself. My girlfriend and friends have made a point to remind me of this on a daily basis! So, when my girlfriend came across this article called “Learn how your cranberry sauce gets to your Turkey” by Peter Johanson of the Ottawa Citizen, about Day Tripping around Ottawa, I decided to take on the challenge and photograph places I had never expected as part of my Ottawa Photo Challenge. Back to my field trip! The itinerary in the article was pretty awesome and truth be told […]
