Found this amazing piece of art on the back of Maxwells right off Jack Purcell Lane in Centertown. If any of you know the artist, please let me know so I can mention him or her here! 212 – Amazing Shinny Rinks as seen in Fairmont Park

Came across these two little mini shinny hockey rinks last night. They were packed, each filled with 6 to 7 kids playing good old 3 on 3 hockey. Pretty awesome setup by the city of Ottawa too, with the heated changing room and the spot lights for late night hockey. I would have loved to be a kid in this neighbourhood growing up. In the spirit of Winterlude which is now only 5 days away, I bring you more Skating on the Rideau Canal photos from the weekend.
