Did you know that Sparks Street Mall was hosting a Spring Carnival? Indeed, a host of rides including a 50 foot Ferris Wheel, a carousel and a version of a good old classic tea cup ride are all lined up on Sparks Street until the end of the week. One of the many activities they have planned this summer including my favorite, RIBFEST. I can’t wait, only a few more weeks till I overdose on ribs, BBQ, and chicken. Last night turned into one of those nights, time flew by and next thing I knew it was one in the morning. Had ambitious plans to get out and take photos of Winterlude’s opening festivities, the fireworks and the kilt skating but they all fell through because of the evidence as displayed above. With $13 pitchers of craft beer, litre steins, and $3.50 shots, things may have got a little out of hand but at the end of the night it was all worth it.
