Another day, another interesting building to show you. Today I bring you the University of Ottawa Power Plant, one of uOttawa’s more interesting buildings, not only for because of its looks but for its central role in keeping a large part of campus running year round.  Hope you enjoy! “The plant provides controls for all environmental and mechanical systems throughout the campus from one central location. Also located in this complex is a sophisticated computerized “watchdog” network that controls temperature, humidity, clocks and atmospheric conditions in several laboratories, as well as conditions in several other buildings.” (uOttawa Website)     […]

If I […]

Yesterday was the first time since Fringe that I have had an opportunity to venture around the University of Ottawa Campus. Forgot what it was like to be surrounded by students every couple of feet talking about mid-terms, classes, teachers, and homework. Can’t say I miss it at all! Well thats a lie, who doesn’t miss the social aspects and the parties of course! Today’s photo was shot yesterday right after sunset on Laurier Street. While most of the trees have already past their prime fall colours in the area, the wall on this building (Visual Art’s Building) is still […]
